New for the autumn season Mantinga is launching a range of Bread Bowls as an eye-catching way to serve soup and stews.
The two varieties, which include Dark Rye and Light Rye bread with Caraway Seeds, are baked with an extra thick crust so that soup can be served directly into a carved out shell. The sliced off lid is the ideal accompaniment to dip into any chunky soup whilst the inner bread can be toasted to form crispy croutons. The bowls can be purchased in two sizes, 200gm for starters and 400gm for main courses.
In addition to this, Mantinga's speciality bread selection, which has been recently expanded to include feta cheese and black olive bread, caramelised onion bread and sundried tomato bread, are all a great way to add a special touch to a thick country soup.
Mantinga's roll selection is wide and varied. Whether it is the Sundried Tomato or Black Olive Ciabatta or maybe even the Multi-Seeded Heart Shaped Mantinga Roll, they are all sure to satisfy and complement any soup eating occasion
All bread products are imported frozen from Mantinga's dedicated Baltic craft bakery, either part baked or thaw and serve.
