Mantinga, the specialist bread company has won three gold stars at the Great Taste Awards 2009 from the Guild of Fine Foods. The award winning products are the Multigrain Croissant, Seeded Wholemeal Loaf and Green Olive Loaf with Mediterranean Herbs.

The Multigrain Croissant is sourced from an artisan bakery in
The Seeded Wholemeal loaf is based on the traditional Eastern European rye bread and similarly the bread is born from a natural sourdough starter, allowing a long fermentation to take place. Healthy sunflower, linseed and sesame seeds are combined with wholemeal grains and rye flour to add texture and flavour and the loaf is hand-scored, once proven, before being baked.
Crammed with intense green Spanish olives and infused with herbs, the Olive Bread with Mediterranean herbs has a light, open textured crumb. It is traditionally stone-baked with a thick outer crust.
